Cascadian Bowmen Membership InformationClub PurposeTo foster, expand and perpetuate the practice and skill of archery in all of its forms, with the high spirit, good fellowship and traditions of this ancient and honorable sport. To encourage the use of the bow in the hunting of all legal game, and to co-operate with those involved to secure better hunting privileges and conditions for bow hunters. Provide competitive archery events for all archers, from the traditional shooter to the Pro shooter, and everything in between, in a fair and sportsman like atmosphere. Who we are?Real people/archers interested in developing additional skills in the use of the bow, be it for bow-hunting and/or target archery. Membership is granted to anyone with a genuine interest in the protection of the sport. Benefits of MembershipA 52 acre outdoor range is open all year round to members. The range has 4-14 target courses and members maintain the ranges, practice area, camping and cook shack. We have a first class range, one of the best in Oregon. We are one of the top 10 ranges in the United States as ranked by the National Field Archery Association. A 7200 square foot indoor range is also open year round with practice and competitive shooting at various times during the year. Tournaments, fun and competitive shoots are held throughout the year. A monthly news bulletin mailed to member informing them of Club activities, as well as projects and activities on the State and National level. A voice with the State of Oregon Fish & Game Commission and the Legislature concerning bow-hunting seasons and regulations. Also have a voice in Oregon's archery tournaments and dates Camping facilities are also available to members. We are currently in the middle of a project funded by Oregon Fish and Game to create a handicap accessible 14 target field range. Membership RequirementsMembership is based on "Head of Household". This means that you pay one price for the entire family. Members are considered to be working members as long as they complete 16 hours of service to the club over the year. Service includes range clean-up, adopt-a-target, kitchen help, and shoot setup and take down, just to name a few. If you do not complete the 16 hours over the year, your membership will become a non-working membership. To become a working member again, you must complete the 16 hours of service during your non-working year.
